November HIIT for December Fire: The ChuckChallenge Is On!

Congratulations to everyone who joined the challenge, we have some updates below.

Mileage Tracking Update: Make Every Step Count

We’ve noticed that some participants’ mileage isn’t syncing to the challenge — and here’s why: steps alone won’t count toward the group goal unless you record a workout.

📱 If You Have an Apple Watch or Fitbit

Make sure you start a walking or running workout session on your device.
If you don’t, your steps will be tracked in the background, but your mileage won’t sync to the

📍 If You Don’t Have a Watch

No problem — just open the challenge page in the Pacer app and tap “Start GPS Activity.”
This will track your walk or run in real time and run quietly in the background (based on your phone’s settings), so you can go about your day while your mileage automatically counts toward the challenge.

🎯 Group Goal Update

The team goal is now 3 thousand miles  due to the influx of new participants, 100 miles looked too easy — and everyone’s tracked miles helps us get there.
If the community hits the goal early, we’ll raise the bar and keep the fire going.

Let’s walk with purpose, track with intention, and show what the RideWithChuck community can do when we move together. 💪

At RideWithChuck, we don’t just admire the drive — we admire the discipline. Our community is built on car lovers, road warriors, and everyday drivers who know the value of movement. But let’s be real: driving everywhere can lead to a sedentary lifestyle. That’s why we’re flipping the script this November with the ChuckChallenge on the Pacer app.

What Is November HIIT, ChuckChallenge?

This is a HIIT-inspired walking challenge designed to help you build a calorie deficit before the holiday season hits. Whether you walk, jog, or “wog” (walk + jog), the goal is simple:

Walk 3.4 miles a day
Log up to 7 miles daily via GPS
Help contribute to our group total — every step counts

 How Does Tracking Work?

We get it — tech can be confusing. So here’s how it works:

• Once you join the challenge in the Pacer app, your steps and mileage are tracked automatically using your phone’s GPS.
• No manual entry. No treadmill logging. Just real movement outdoors.
• The app runs quietly in the background and starts recording as soon as you move.
• Your progress updates in real time — but only counts if you hit your daily mileage goal.

Tip: Make sure your location services are turned on and your phone is with you while walking.

Why RideWithChuck Promotes Walking

We love cars. We live for the road. But we also know that health is wealth — and walking is one of the simplest ways to stay fit, clear your mind, and balance out the hours behind the wheel.

This challenge is about more than steps. It’s about shifting gears — from sedentary to active, from passive to intentional.

Share Your Progress Daily

We encourage everyone in the ChuckChallenge to post their progress each day — whether it’s a screenshot, a selfie, or a quick update. Your post might be the motivation someone else needs to get moving. Let’s lift each other up and keep the momentum strong.
